Cultivate London is an innovative urban farm based across multiple sites in West London. We produce a range of herbs and vegetables for sale to London households, restaurants and shops.
Cultivate London has three main objectives:
- To generate training opportunities and jobs for unemployed young people aged 16-25 in practical horticulture
- To convert derelict and vacant land across London into productive food growing space
- To increase the amount of local and organically grown produce consumed by Londoners
We approach our work with curiosity, ambition to produce the highest quality produce and the belief that working in partnership delivers better results for all. We aim to have a long term impact on the lives of young people. We will change the way Londoners think about their fresh produce and where it comes from.
Cultivate London began operating in March 2011 and is funded by Pathways. If you’re interested in what we do and how we do it, please stay in touch and sign up to our mailing list. We’d love to hear from you.
